We’ve moved! (Kerf casework adapts to new office space)

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

ZDS Architects have recently moved our office to a work loft in the Ravenna neighborhood of Seattle, WA.  For our current contact info, please visit our website.  Though we built out our previous Capitol Hill office with custom casework by Kerf Design, we were able to reconfigure their layout to adapt to the new space.

Our previous office included multiple workstations, designed to optimize storage and functionality while collectively creating an artful composition along the wall.

Each workstation consisted of three components: two for the desk + one upper cabinet.

It took Nathan Hartman of Kerf Design and his assistant, Zach, only one hour to breakdown our work stations.

Welcome to the courtyard of our new work loft.

It only took a few hours to reassemble the Kerf components into their new configuration.

The upper cabinets are installed along one wall.

This workstation was extended using an additional desk component to allow for great storage and lay space.

Kerf also fashioned a few new pieces, including this file storage cabinet beneath the desk of our colleague and officemate, Alexis Chartouni of Acropolis Capital Management.

Kizzy successfully supervised the move and is exhausted…

We’d like to thank Henderson | Kelly and our neighbors in Capitol Hill for three years of good times, collaboration and co-habitation.  Here’s wishing them all the best!
